Itinerary Proposal vs Booking mode | Pro plan, Custom plan
This article explains the difference between the proposal and the online booking modes.
When creating an itinerary you might have noticed the Proposal and the Online booking mode options.
The Proposal and the Online booking modes control the itinerary booking button and either disable (Proposal mode) or enable (Online booking) the button and checkout on the customer end.
As the name suggests, the Proposal mode should be used at the initial sales stage when the offer is made to the customer but purchasing the itinerary should not yet be allowed.
When Online booking is selected the Proceed to Booking button is activated and starts to show on the itinerary, allowing the customer to purchase the itinerary through the TripCreator checkout.
You can switch between the two modes at any time needed.
