# Invoice vs Booking Summary

## Learn how to customise when invoices are issued.

Customise when invoices are issued with the **"Issue Invoice on Payment Confirmation"** toggle in **Itinerary Settings**. This gives you control over the invoicing process based on your needs:

✔ **Issue an Invoice Upon Booking** completion – automatically generate an invoice when a booking is completed.

✔ **Send a Booking Summary** – Share a booking summary if you need to issue an invoice through a separate system. This option is ideal for final confirmations prior to payment.

To locate the "**Issue Invoice on Payment Confirmation**" toggle:

1\. Open an itinerary settings tab,

2\. Select the "Online booking" option,

3\. Apply the changes,

4\. Go the "Booking" tab on the left-hand side where you will see the toggle.
